  • 2 chicken breast halves
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper as desired
  • Flour for coating
  • 3 tbsp olive oil divided
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms sliced
  • 1/2 medium onion chopped
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup full-fat sour cream

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Lightly coat with flour.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until browned, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add 1 tbsp olive oil and butter to the skillet. Sauté mushrooms and onion until softened.
  4. Stir in mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. Cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add chicken broth. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream. Return chicken to skillet. Cook until heated through.

Notes

- Use almond flour for a keto-friendly version.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
