  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Rub spice mixture evenly over chicken breasts.
  5. Pour melted butter in a large baking dish to coat the bottom.
  6. Place seasoned chicken breasts in the baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over each chicken breast.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  9. Let rest for a few minutes before garnishing with chopped parsley.

- Patting the chicken dry helps it brown nicely.
- Letting the dish rest enhances the flavors.
