  • 1 lb salmon skinless fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 tsp ginger grated, optional
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds for garnish
  • 2 tbsp green onions chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cut salmon into 1-inch cubes and pat dry with a paper towel.
  2. Toss with cornstarch, olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  4. Arrange salmon in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  7. Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  8. Stir in soy sauce, honey, and 2 tablespoons water.
  9. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  10. Transfer cooked salmon bites to a bowl and toss with honey garlic sauce.
  11. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  12. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

- Patting the salmon dry helps achieve a crispy texture.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice to the sauce.
