Ingredients
  

For the sliders

  • 1 package 340g Hawaiian rolls or slider buns (trust me, the sweetness of Hawaiian rolls takes these to the next level!)
  • 8 slices of provolone cheese
  • Mayonnaise for toasting the buns

For the garlic butter

  • 1 clove garlic chopped
  • ½ tablespoon parsley chopped
  • ¼ cup butter room temperature

For the salad

  • ¼ head of lettuce chopped
  • ½ red onion chopped
  • 2 small jalapeños seeds removed and chopped
  • 3 pickles chopped

For the salad dressing

  • ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ tablespoon white balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

For the deli meats

  • 140 g hot mortadella
  • 75 g Genoa salami
  • 50 g pepperoni
  • For serving optional:
  • Hot sauce
  • Mustard

  • Preheat and Prep: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F. While it’s heating up, chop all your veggies and meats. This is where the fun begins—chopping everything into bite-sized pieces is oddly therapeutic!

  • Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the chopped garlic and parsley. Add the cubed butter and combine everything. If the butter is too cold, pop it in the microwave for a few seconds to soften.
  • Toss the Salad: In a medium bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, red onion, jalapeños, and pickles. Add the salad dressing ingredients and mix well. Set this aside for later.

  • Toast the Bottom Buns: Place the bottom halves of your slider buns on a sheet pan. Spread a generous layer of mayonnaise on the cut side and toast them in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • SteBuild the Sliders: Place a slice of provolone on each toasted bun and return them to the oven for 2-3 minutes to let the cheese melt.

  • Bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the buns are golden and the butter is melted.
