Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 15 oz can cream-style corn
  • ½ 4 oz can chopped green chiles, drained
  • ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Pan and Oven:
    Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
    Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Mix Wet Ingredients:
    Beat together melted butter and sugar in a large bowl.
    Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Combine Flavor Boosters:
    Mix in cream-style corn, green chiles, and shredded cheeses until well blended.
  • Prepare Dry Mixture:
    In a separate bowl, stir together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures:
    Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Stir until smooth.

Notes

To reduce sweetness, decrease sugar to ¾ cup.
