Description

A simple homemade okra water recipe infused overnight with fresh pods. Refreshing, mildly thickened, and believed by some to support digestion and blood sugar balance.

Ingredients

Scale

45 fresh okra pods

2 cups filtered water

Instructions

1. Wash the fresh okra pods thoroughly under cool water.

2. Slice the pods lengthwise to expose the insides.

3. Place the sliced pods into a glass jar or pitcher.

4. Add 2 cups of filtered water to the jar.

5. Refrigerate and let soak overnight (8–12 hours).

6. Strain the okra pieces and pour the infused water into a glass.

7. Drink immediately in the morning for the best experience.

Notes

Drink within 24 hours for freshness.

You can add a slice of lemon for extra flavor.

Do not overconsume; 1 glass per day is enough.

Eating whole okra offers more nutrients than the water infusion.
