Description

A hearty Low Carb Philly Cheesesteak Casserole with tender beef, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and gooey provolone baked to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ribeye or ground beef

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

1 cup mushrooms, sliced

4 oz cream cheese

6 slices provolone cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a casserole dish.

2. Cook beef in skillet until browned; drain excess fat.

3. Sauté peppers, onions, and mushrooms until softened.

4. Combine beef and veggies in dish, season with garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.

5. Add dollops of cream cheese on top.

6. Layer provolone slices across the surface.

7. Bake uncovered 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.

8. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in fridge up to 4 days or freeze for 2 months.

Serve with salad or roasted veggies for a balanced meal.
