Description

A low-carb, gluten-free alternative with cheesy, garlicky goodness.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups almond flour

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup cream cheese

1 large egg

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp melted butter

2 tbsp garlic powder

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp onion powder

1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Melt in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

3. In another bowl, whisk the egg, then mix in the melted cheese.

4. In a separate bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.

5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture to form a dough.

6. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions, shape each into a bagel.

7. Place bagels on the baking sheet.

8. Brush with melted butter and top with Parmesan cheese.

9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

10. Cool slightly before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.

Ensure bagels are evenly spaced for consistent baking.

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be refrigerated or frozen for storage.
