Description
Golden, crispy keto almond flour waffles with a nutty flavor and perfect crunch. A low-carb breakfast favorite.
Ingredients
1 cup almond flour
2 large eggs
2 tbsp melted butter (or coconut oil)
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp heavy cream (or unsweetened almond milk)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional: 1 tbsp erythritol or monk fruit sweetener
Instructions
1. Preheat waffle iron until hot.
2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, melted butter, cream, and vanilla.
3. Add almond flour, baking powder, salt, and sweetener. Stir until just combined.
4. Grease waffle iron lightly with butter or oil.
5. Pour batter into waffle iron and cook until golden and crispy.
6. Remove and cool on a wire rack to maintain crispness.
7. Serve with sugar-free syrup, berries, or whipped cream.
Notes
For extra crispy waffles, let them cook slightly longer.
Reheat leftovers in a toaster or oven, not microwave.
Sweetener is optional depending on your taste.
