Description
Juicy chicken breasts simmered in a rich, creamy garlic-Parmesan sauce for the perfect weeknight or dinner-party dish.
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup chicken broth (optional)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika if desired.
2. Heat oil and butter in skillet, sear chicken 4–5 min per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
3. In same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
4. Pour in cream, whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Add chicken broth if using.
5. Return chicken to skillet, simmer 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
6. Garnish with parsley and serve with desired sides.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine before the cream.
Thighs can be used instead of breasts for more juiciness.
Pair with pasta, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
