Description

Cajun Chicken Bowtie Alfredo combines tender chicken with pasta in a creamy Velveeta garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale

1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup butter

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

3 cups milk

1 pound Velveeta cheese, cubed

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 pound bowtie pasta

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and cook bite-sized pieces of Cajun-seasoned chicken until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter, sauté minced garlic for one minute, then whisk in flour to create a roux. Gradually add milk while stirring until smooth.

4. Bring to a simmer; add Velveeta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.

5. Stir in cooked pasta and chicken until well combined and heated through before serving.

Notes

Ensure chicken is cooked thoroughly.

Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less heat.
