Ingredients
4 chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on) or 2 chicken breasts
2 tbsp butter or ghee
1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)
1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Salt to taste
Optional: 2 strips cooked bacon
Instructions
1. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat.
2. Add butter and place chicken skin-side down.
3. Sear until golden and crispy, about 7–8 minutes.
4. Flip chicken and cook through, about 5–6 more minutes.
5. Optional: Pour in heavy cream and shredded cheese, reduce until thick.
6. Top with crumbled bacon and serve hot.
Notes
Use thighs for higher fat content.
Add bacon and cheese for extra indulgence.
Store leftovers up to 3 days in the fridge.
