Description
A vibrant herbal drink made with butterfly pea flowers, lemon juice, and apple cider vinegar. Naturally detoxifying and packed with antioxidants, this Brazilian Mounjaro drink shifts colors and boosts your routine.
Ingredients
500 ml (2 cups) water
2 tablespoons dried butterfly pea flowers
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, sliced (optional)
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar with the mother
Instructions
1. Boil water in a saucepan. Add sliced ginger now if using.
2. Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in dried butterfly pea flowers.
3. Let steep for 10 minutes, then strain if preferred.
4. Stir in lemon juice, honey (if using), and apple cider vinegar.
5. Watch the color shift from blue to purple.
6. Serve hot in a mug or iced over a glass of ice cubes.
Notes
You can omit honey for a sugar-free version.
Adjust the vinegar to taste if you’re new to ACV.
Store in a sealed glass jar in the fridge for up to 3 days.
